Sandra Allen Lynn

Sandra brings over two decades of design experience to her studio creating environments with exceptional attention to space planning, creative detailing and interiors that stand up to everyday life.

Sandra has been expressing herself with some form of art or design for as long as she can remember. After a degree in fine art and graphic design, the first years of Sandra’s profession was in advertising and publishing graphic design and art direction. In 1991, Sandra became Art Director of the marketing department for Southern Living and Southern Accents magazines. After thirteen years in advertising, she joined the editorial department of Southern Living to pursue her love of interiors and entertaining producing, styling and writing about home design projects and entertaining ideas. In 2000, Sandra jumped into the small business world and established Lynn Allen Design.

With Sandra’s background, not only in interiors, but in fine art and graphic design, she understands the core principles of design…color, balance, proportion, texture, contrast and space. While offering a mix of classic style and modern flare combined with functionality for the ease of everyday living, she combines practicality with beautiful design. Her goal for every project is to create an environment as a reflection of her client’s lifestyle and their passions through carefully curated client collections, vintage finds, modern luxuries, durable furnishings and stunning art. Her experience, talents and her passion for designing family friendly, comfortable and sophisticated, well appointed interiors give her clients a place to call home.
